These terms cover your use of the zipmarine.ai website. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. The website vs. the service

This website describes the ZipMarine vessel-management service. Using the website doesn’t create a subscription. A subscription begins only when you and ZipMarine agree in writing to a quote or order. That written agreement, which covers pricing, installation, payment, support, and data, governs the service. If it conflicts with these terms, the written agreement wins.

2. Pricing and information on the site

We work to keep prices, features, and descriptions accurate, but they can change, and the site may contain errors. Published prices are per vessel and exclude installation, which we quote separately in writing before you commit. Your written quote is the price you pay. Example screens, sample data, and illustrations on the site are for demonstration only.

3. AI-generated answers

ZipMarine uses AI to help you find and understand information about your vessel. AI answers can be incomplete or wrong. They support your judgment and your crew’s; they don’t replace it. They also don’t replace manufacturer instructions, a qualified marine engineer or surveyor, classification society or flag-state requirements, or the regulations that apply to your vessel. You remain responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of your vessel.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site. That means don’t try to break or overload it, gain unauthorized access, scrape it at scale, submit false or harmful content through our forms, or use it for anything unlawful.

5. Intellectual property

The site’s content, design, logos, and the ZipMarine name are owned by ZipMarine or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business purposes. Please don’t copy or reuse them otherwise without our permission.

6. Links to other sites

The site may link to third-party websites. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimers

The website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZipMarine won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website. Our total liability for any claim related to the website is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Liability relating to the paid service is governed by your written agreement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
